Things Poetic

 Beating Sun Heat shimmers on the rocky pavement, worn and shaped from the years Shutters move slowly in the wind, fanning those behind with cool draughts of air The birds sounds drowned out by the cars and scooters, as they busily rush about  Looking to finish their job so they can do the next one Voices and shouts in Italian, French, English and others interrupt the calm in between the noises The journey here took a day and it was long,  But was it worth it ? Completely so The calmness settles my soul, as I wait for the train back Whistles, then the creak as the train carriages are pulled from their slumber and off To a new adventure

 Sunshine Birds sing me out of my sleep, their calls soft at first, swirling into the swirl of craziness thats my dream dream....a swirl of colour, of movement, of faces, of places touching down where I recognise a face, a person, a place watching something happen in my minds eye interrupted by the soft call of the sparrows, chattering to each other, softly and then, louder as the swirl of colour goes  and my eyes open "what the ....." oh, its sunny,  and noisy and early Bloody summer the reflected light catches my eyes, and the walls, reflecting off the glass the artwork the soft curves of the bombshell delectable up we get in every way

 Sunshine Prickling the skin of the air, peers over the edge of the sky, beyond suggesting heat, warmth stretch, reach for warmth wrap around and pull against, feeling the heat of the sun speckling against skin legs softly reach breath catches eyes catch as they open, taking in the vista no ending or beginning of sheets and limbs peace, home, relax

 starshine scintillating light, reflecting from the dew on the leaves, of the trees, finding watchers within the leaves and without pointing to life and reaching back to lives untold and unheard yet still draws back to a never  ending heat, light, sound fire driving and living this universe sound, light, form, hope all drive outward and catch the leaves continuum
