 Tuesdays are for Travelling

'Beep beep'

Thunderously interrupts my dreams, fighting goblins and cats, who

won, I wondered

Its Tuesday ....again

Bags packed, again too

much inside them

Tickets bought,

Why so expensive ?

Taxi.....station....wait for that whooshing sound on the rails as the train approaches

Stops, oops chime

and into the next adventure

please, please let me not sit next to a talker, or a big person...or anyone

and off we go

Loves Inadequacy

Inadequacy of Love Rainbows of flowing heat, dark and vibrantly aglow at the same time, Holding promise, whilst near the surface, pools of darker promise threat ? the first shoots, bright and virgin soaking up everything, endless promise and opportunity the first leaf, growing structure promise of more to coms stem thickening more leaves, and texture something new appears a different bud evolving until it opens bright and effervescent, the first flowering and suddenly, surrounded but pollinators, bees, flies the natural cycle suddenly ended by the florist moved into a vase Turned into a wife or husband fixed in time or reinforced as such ending any other promise leaving the plant somewhat diminished, less colourful, less promise growing, without the wild and beauty of the floral decorations love cut off, sat in a museum display a memory, but now stopped and dead
