Diminished and Exultant

 Somewhat diminished

Thoughts of something immense, towering over everything, looking

West, east, no ending

Or beginning

Thoughts of exaltation

Turn into despair

Nothing left, little hoped for, less achieved

Diminished, lost, inescapably nothing

Wake and hope for more
